DECLARATION OF COMPLIANCE – Restriction of Hazardous Substances

General Statement of Compliance - RoHS


Bittree, Inc. is aware of the material restrictions set forth in EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS 2), on the 21st day of July, 2011. We are committed to consumer safety and the betterment of our environment through the reduction of the following hazardous substances included in all finished Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE):

Restricted Substances: Exemptions
Lead (Pb)* Per EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS 2), Exemption 6c:
Copper alloys may contain up to 4% Lead
Mercury (Hg)  
Cadmium (Cd)** Per EU Decision 2011/65/EU (
RoHS 2), Exemption 8b:
Electrical contacts may contain Cadmium or its compounds
Hexavalent Chromium (Cr+6)  
Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBBs)  
Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDEs)  

Upon request, compliance with the RoHS directive will be declared on the packing slip, per item, and/or supplied as an individual product number certification document. For additional information, please contact our Sales Team.

We reserve the right to make any material or component substitutions in our products that will not adversely impact the assertions made in/by this document.

Our materials and components were not actively tested for composition. However, documentation provided by our suppliers–including certifications and available material safety data sheets (MSDSs)–was determined to be sufficient for purposes of declaring directive compliance.
